SNAP / EBT
Online SNAP, implemented to FNS spec.
Online SNAP has strict rules. SnapStocked builds them into checkout so your customers can spend their benefits online and your store stays compliant.
- SNAP-eligible items only. Eligibility is tracked per product and enforced at checkout.
- No tax or fees on EBT. Tax and fees always fall to the card side — never SNAP.
- True split-tender. Customers pay eligible items with EBT and the rest by card, in one order.
- FNS-authorized EBT processing. EBT runs through Forage, an FNS-approved online EBT processor.
- You stay the merchant. Bring your FNS online-SNAP authorization; each store transacts as its own retailer of record.
SnapStocked provides the FNS-spec online-SNAP checkout experience. Retailers supply their own USDA FNS online-SNAP authorization.
